Industrial Timber expanding operations in Tippah County, MS

Jackson, Miss. (Sept. 18, 2026) – Industrial Timber is expanding its operations in Ripley. The project represents a corporate investment of more than $2.6 million and will create 11 jobs.

Industrial Timber is the nation’s largest independent furniture frame manufacturer and supplier of custom wood-based solutions. The expansion includes the rehabilitation of the company’s Ripley facility, the construction of a new 36,000-square-foot building and the addition of new machinery and equipment to support the domestic manufacturing needs of major furniture brands’ bed slat production.

The Mississippi Development Authority is providing assistance through the Mississippi Flexible Tax Incentive, or MFLEX, program. Tippah County is supporting the project as well.

Industrial Timber plans to complete the project this fall. The company also maintains operations in Pontotoc and Tupelo.
