Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative web developer who combines a passion for
economic development with sophisticated technical skills.

The Economic Development Web Developer Strategist will play a pivotal role in
advancing an economic development organization's digital presence, online business
retention, attraction and other program support awareness. This professional combines
a strong understanding of economic development principles with advanced web
development and digital communications expertise to design, build, and maintain
sophisticated websites, data dashboards, and online engagement tools that support
business growth, investment attraction, and community visibility.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact while
leveraging cutting-edge web technologies. You'll have the opportunity to translate
complex economic data into engaging digital experiences that tell compelling stories
about business investment opportunities, workforce capabilities, and quality of life on
behalf of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
 Collaborate with leadership to align client website strategy with economic
development goals, including workforce, real estate, industry clusters, and
investment promotion.
 Supported by economic development staff, design, develop and maintain Camoin
and client websites, utilizing the latest tools for data integration and security
 Manage data integrations from federal and proprietary sources.
 Support client marketing campaigns, site selection tools, and lead generation
platforms through digital channels.
 Support Camoin internal website design/updates and marketing campaigns
Website Development; Digital Experience
 Design, develop, and maintain modern, user-friendly, responsive websites
focused on economic growth and investment promotion.
 Implement robust CMS solutions for easy content management by non-technical
staff.
 Develop custom applications, dashboards, and mapping tools that visualize
community assets and economic data.
 Ensure accessibility, SEO optimization, and compliance with data privacy and
cybersecurity standards.
 Integrate analytics, CRM tools, and marketing automation systems to measure
user engagement and impact.

Project; Technical Management
 Lead cross-functional digital projects from concept through deployment.
 Manage hosting environments, domain registration, backups, and security
updates.
 Collaborate with graphic designers, data analysts, marketing professionals, and
external vendors.
 Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve website functionality and performance.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience
 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Urban Planning, Computer Science,
Marketing, or a related field.
 5+ years of combined experience in economic development and/or website
development and digital marketing.
 Experience with regional, city, or business development organizations preferred.
