Successful candidates for the position of Director of Economic Development will possess, at a minimum, the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Economics, Urban Planning, Marketing, Real Estate, Public/Business Administration, Management or a related field is required. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
- At least seven years of related experience required, along with supervisory experience.
- Valid Driver’s License required, meeting City driving standards. Candidates from out of state must be able to obtain a Texas license.
- Economic Development Certification required.
