Position Title:  Assistant Director

Reporting:       Reports to the Executive Director

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Assures Chapter compliance with criteria to assure annual Chapter Excellence Award at a Gold Level

Assists Chapter Director in implementation of the strategic plan

Assists Chapter Director in development of the chapter budget Assures timely compliance with the chapter communication plan

To include emails, social media, member e-connections,

chapter website and member resources; Oversight of related functions

Responsible for chapter operations to include but not limited to communications, events, marketing and membership programs to assure recruitment and retention

Responsible for administration and operations of chapter events to include in person meetings and online event formats

Support Chapter Committee Chairs to attain measures in the chapter strategic plan and support other projects as identified by the council leaders

Assessment of virtual communication and events platforms to assure ongoing member engagement

Prepares and provides reports for leadership, and /or management

Supports the chapter accounting and financial processes of the chapter

Travel to chapter meetings to include the annual scientific conference and         

regional conferences      


Bachelor’s Degree or combination of relevant education and applicable experience
