Ron Kitchens

Ron Kitchens is a visionary leader and a driving force behind economic and community development with more than 30 years’ experience leading community growth in Texas, Missouri and Michigan. He serves as the President and CEO of the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce and Forward Wichita Falls, where he spearheads transformative initiatives to enhance business growth and prosperity.
Ron’s commitment to education and civic leadership is exemplified by his role as Trustee Emeritus of Western Michigan University and his service on the Midwestern State University Dillard College of Business Advisory Board. A seasoned public servant, he previously held the position of Mayor Pro-Tem for the City of Ozark, Missouri, and contributed to national policy as a staff member for United States Senator Jack Danforth.
As a serial entrepreneur, Ron has founded and funded eight companies, demonstrating his expertise in innovation and enterprise. He also served as the founding General Partner of the nation’s largest community venture fund, showcasing his ability to channel resources into impactful, community-driven ventures.
