TREKK Design Group to expand in Fenton and Springfield, MO

SEDC News,
Jefferson City - TREKK Design Group (TREKK), a multi-disciplined, woman-owned civil engineering firm, announced today that it is expanding in Fenton and Springfield, investing a total of $1.89 million and creating 77 new jobs across both locations.

“We applaud TREKK Design Group’s commitment to our state as it invests and creates jobs in both Fenton and Springfield,” said Governor Mike Kehoe. “Expansions like these are providing communities with real economic benefits while underscoring our standing as a leading business destination. We appreciate the trust that TREKK Design Group has placed in Missouri and look forward to the company’s continued success.”

Established in 2002 and headquartered in Kansas City, TREKK opened its first St. Louis area office in 2010 and Springfield office in 2013. Today, the company also operates in Columbia with additional locations in Kansas, Nebraska, Arkansas, and Illinois. TREKK’s more than 200 employees include civil engineers with various specializations, GIS analysts and asset managers, construction inspectors, surveyors, and field technicians.

“Expanding our Fenton office and opening our new Springfield location reinforces TREKK’s long‑term commitment to the communities we serve across Missouri,” said Kimberly Robinett, CEO & Managing Partner of TREKK Design Group. “By growing our footprint, we’re investing not only in these communities, but also in the talented people who live and work here. This strengthens our ability to deliver smart, reliable infrastructure solutions across Missouri.”

TREKK provides a full complement of engineering design and consulting services to municipalities, public agencies and private developers across the Midwest.

“At DED, everything we do centers around helping Missourians prosper - and that’s exactly what TREKK Design Group is accomplishing,” said Michelle Hataway, Director of the Department of Economic Development. “This company’s growth across multiple regions is a demonstration of confidence in our favorable business climate and another example of an employer creating opportunities for Missouri workers and families.”

For this expansion, TREKK Design Group will benefit from the Missouri Works program, a tool that helps companies expand and retain workers by providing access to capital through withholdings or tax credits for job creation.
