Professional Bio
Lisa Haack joined Leavenworth County Development Corporation (LCDC) in 2017. In her role as Assistant Director, Lisa facilitates the creation and retention of jobs and capital investment in Leavenworth County, Kansas. She has been responsible for the Business Retention/Expansion Program for four and a half years which is designed to help existing businesses overcome barriers to growth. Lisa assists the director with Business Attraction. She markets the community for development opportunities through relationship building with business development professionals and maintains LCDC’s property database as well as assesses, prepares, and responds to Requests for Information (RFI) for potential development projects.
Lisa serves on several boards including three Chambers of Commerce, the Leavenworth Mainstreet Program, and Grow Leavenworth County’s E-Community Loan Program. She serves as Vice President of Promotions for Toastmasters Club 2301. Lisa has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Kansas, 2017. She graduated from Oklahoma University’s Economic Development Institute in 2021. Lisa is planning to earn the designation of Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) from the International Economic Development Institute.
