The Southern Economic Development Council, North America's oldest and largest economic development association, is set to lead an international economic development mission to Munich, Germany, in November 2026. With the goal of accelerating foreign direct investment in the SEDC service territory, the Council will spotlight the business advantages of the American South and cultivate valuable connections at SEMICON EUROPA 2026 – Europe’s strongest single event or electronics manufacturing.

SEMICON Europa is Europe’s leading semiconductor and microelectronics event, bringing together global equipment manufacturers, materials suppliers, design houses, and system integrators to drive innovation across the supply chain. Held at Messe München in Munich, it features a major exhibition floor, executive forums, and startup showcases focused on advanced packaging, MEMS, and AI chip design, all centered on the theme “Global Collaborations for European Economic Resilience. The SEDC “Team American South” delegation aims to engage with global industry leaders, discern market strategies, gain industry insights, and highlight the American South's position as the world's premier investment location.

SEDC invites members to join the Council delegation on November 10 – 13, 2026. Registration is open now on a first-come, first-served basis. Spaces are extremely limited and expected to fill rapidly. Registration includes a conference pass, exhibit booth access, pre-arranged qualified prospect meetings, and more.

Member Fee: $6,000
Travel and lodging at SEDC-arranged hotel fees not included.
