Event Details
Join fellow economic development professionals for an open discussion on addressing childcare challenges and exploring creative solutions that support both working families and local employers. Facilitated by Lisha Morlan, Executive Director of the Roane County Economic Development Authority in West Virginia, this roundtable will explore how communities can approach childcare as an important part of their workforce and economic development strategies. Learn about innovative approaches, opportunities for collaboration among employers and community partners, and how West Virginia is exploring solutions such as its Tri-Share program.
Come ready to participate! This roundtable is designed for open, candid conversation, so bring your experiences, questions, and ideas. Share what's working in your community, discuss barriers you've encountered, and learn from how your colleagues are finding creative ways to expand childcare access and support their workforce.
