Event Details
Join fellow economic development professionals for an open discussion on navigating the loss of a major employer and turning a difficult community setback into an opportunity for growth. Facilitated by Lindsay Theobald of the Obion County Joint Economic Development Corporation and Andrea Anderson of the Ardmore Development Authority, this roundtable will explore the real numbers behind employer closures, how communities rally together in response, what to expect throughout the process, and how to move forward strategically. Learn how to support your community through uncertainty, identify new opportunities, and position your region for its next chapter of growth.
Come ready to participate! This roundtable is designed for open, candid conversation, so bring your experiences, questions, and ideas. Whether your community has faced a major employer closure or you want to be better prepared for the possibility, this is an opportunity to learn from others and share strategies for moving forward.
