Carrollton is a home rule municipality with a council-manager form of government. The Director of Economic Development is part of the City’s senior leadership team and reports to the Assistant City Manager-Development Services. The position will be responsible for Development and Redevelopment initiatives, BRE, assistance with Transit-Oriented-Development projects, Economic Strategic Visioning, and Business, Industrial, Office, Retail and Destination Restaurant recruitment and development.

The ideal candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in general business administration or a related field and have eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in an economic development or related position. CEcC and/or PCED certification is a plus.
