Location: Levelland, Texas
Position: Executive Director

Ideally located on the South Plains of west Texas and just 30 minutes west of Lubbock, Levelland, Texas, is the county seat of Hockley County, one of the top 10 petroleum and agricultural producing counties in the state. Levelland has a population of approximately 14,000 and has grown over 8% since 2000.

 The Levelland Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) is a 4A Texas Corporation partially funded by a voter-approved 3/8 cent sales tax. Additionally, the Levelland Industrial Rail Park is a 243-acre industrial part that connects to the BNSF Railroad. Total revenues for the LEDC are approximately $1 million.

 Bachelor’s degree required. CEcD, PCED, and/or EDFP certification is highly desired. A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience management required. The Executive Director will be required to live in the greater Levelland area.
