Manager for Economic Development Programs
The Development Authority of Bulloch County
Statesboro, GA

The Development Authority of Bulloch County (DABC) is seeking a Manager for Economic Development Programs to support its economic development efforts in the Statesboro-Bulloch County community.

Statesboro-Bulloch County, Georgia, is located in Southeast Georgia, approximately 45 miles from Savannah and the Port of Savannah.  The community includes a growing population of over 70,000 in the County and serves as a regional hub for employment, health care, and retail activity.  The community’s economic base is very diverse, with vibrant industrial, professional, agricultural, and retail sectors.  In addition, the community serves as a center for higher education, with Georgia Southern University, a Research I University with an enrollment of over 20,000 students; Ogeechee Technical College, a two year institution of the Technical College System of Georgia; and a satellite campus of East Georgia State College, a two year liberal arts institution of the University System of Georgia. The position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer of the DABC and will work with a broad range of constituents, both local (Board members, County/City elected officials and staff, existing industry, local economic development entities) and outside of the community (state project managers, utilities, site selection consultants, real estate companies, etc.).
