Under the direction of the Executive Director, the position is responsible for conducting marketing research, competitive intelligence, data gathering / analysis, and project planning.  Will also perform a variety of professional and technical tasks as directed by the ED.  Interfaces and coordinates with the community leaders, local businesses and various City and County departments and staff.

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration.  Must be able to interpret and disseminate information.   The successful candidate must be computer literate and able to prepare basic reports and use of the appropriate mode of communication.  Must be able to meet project deadlines and deal in confidence under highly stressful circumstances with high level business and governmental leaders.  Must possess a valid South Carolina driver’s license.
