Founded in 1889, the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber is committed to promoting, improving and enhancing the Pensacola Bay Area through responsible economic development, community involvement and unity of private and public sectors. The Chamber’s economic development department’s core focus is to attract, retain, and grow companies and jobs for the Pensacola Bay Area. We are looking for an experienced economic developer with industry acumen.

This individual will report to the Senior Vice President of Economic Development and will be responsible for managing the complete location experience of projects considering the Pensacola Bay Area for the location or expansion of its business operations from initial contact to corporate location.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

> Three or more year track record of success in economic development or in closing complex sales/business development.
> Diplomacy. Expertise in building coalitions, influencing and negotiating solutions
> Well developed project management skills
> Strong communication skills
> A high level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite
> Prior experience with Florida incentive programs is preferred
> Prior experience with workforce development is preferred
