The Jackson County Area Chamber of Commerce is a seeking an Economic Development Project Manager to support the President/CEO/Economic Development Director with operations, planning, and marketing efforts of the Chamber’s Economic Development Program.  The successful candidate must have the ability to take initiative, work independently, multitask, and be adaptable to an every changing fast paced work environment.  Duties for this position include, but are not limited to, industry research, economic development marketing, and grant writing. 

Located on the I-85 Corridor in The Metro Atlanta Industrial Market, Jackson County is home to a diverse number of Manufacturing and Distribution operations including Toyota, Kubota, Carter’s, Homegoods, and many others. The Community has an expansive list of industrial developers to serve future clients with over 3,000 acres zoned for industrial with more to come.

A bachelor’s degree in public administration, public relations, marketing, business, or a similar course of study is required. Two to three years of experience in economic development is preferred.  Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered for the minimum requirements.


Pay Range:
High 20’s-low 30’s
