The City of Midland, Texas, is seeking a new Director of Development Services. A bachelorâ€™s degree in Public Administration, Planning, Construction Sciences, or a related field is required; a masterâ€™s degree is preferred. Five years of senior management experience is required.
Requires strong organizational and budgeting aptitude, as well as project coordination experience. Must demonstrate strong management skills and an understanding of planning concepts related to overall community development. Expertise in code enforcement, inspections, affordable housing programs and general planning principles is highly desirable.
