2010 SEDC Educational Foundation Scholarships

For the past seven years SEDC's Educational Foundation had been awarding scholarships to members looking to advance their professional development.  Activities such as the Economic Development Institute, Community Development Institute, an IEDC accredited course and one of SEDC's professional development activities can be used for the $500 award.  

Based on the information provided in their applications winners are determined according to criteria listed below:

• Scholarships will be awarded based on need.
• Applicants must be members in good standing (except for students applicants that have not graduated and are not professionally employed).(All applicants are current members)
• Applicants must demonstrate dedication to the profession and intent to continue.
• Scholarship must be used within one year of receipt.
